We came here to chew some gum and throw raging pool parties...and we're almost out of gum. All kidding aside, we ecstatic about our new residency. For eight consecutive Sundays, we will be handed the keys to the 100,000 square foot beachfront complex known as Exit 66. The pool party series dubbed Spring Sessions will encompass our Second Sunday party,on the (you guessed it,)second Sunday of every month. The huge pool area has recently been remodeled so get ready for sun, fun, and a full sensory overload. See you poolside!

We love it when a new nightclub opens, especially in our hometown. We love the excitment, the anticipation, the feel of brand new gear, the sound of new speakers, and the latest lighting technology shining bright. On Saturday, we have the pleasure of playing the Grand Opening of 15 West, a beautiful new dance club in the Westside of downtown Fort Lauderdale. This night holds extra special meaning as we are celebrating our birthdays...literally, all of them. We have three scorpios in the Ontildawn crew and this opening party will serve as the perfect platform to celebrate in proper fashion. Come check out the swanky new digs and a plethora of hot tunes served up by three birthday boys!

Tonight we hit Mekka Miami....hard. We're traveling to downtown MIA, home of house music and the 24 hour liquor license. Mekka happens to be a renowned player in the Miami afterhours scene, seeing a recent facelift which includes new sound, lights, and decor. We're more than excited about the opportunity to spin at Mekka, so be sure to get there early as our set starts at 1:30AM.

One year ago today, we lost our brother and dear friend Julio Buenano. Since that time, not a day has passed where he wasn’t present in our thoughts and prayers. Julio had many different roles in his life; he was a father, a son, a brother, and an amazing friend. His hands in the air, smile on my face approach to life attracted people to him instantly, and his energy and kind heart allowed him to amass friends by the hundred, (which was quantified by the 300 people who attended his funeral). Julio introduced us to dance music. He fed us these new sounds by the truckload, he got us into the best clubs in the city, and he owned the dance floor every time! Julio gave us the confidence to pursue DJ’ing and for that we are eternally grateful.
Julio Buenano passed away at age 30. But, don’t ever feel sorry for him. In his 30 years on this planet he lived more than any of us; he traveled the world (literally), he saved lives as an emergency room nurse, he was a champion water polo player, he fathered a beautiful baby girl (Lucia), he rocked nightclubs all over South Florida as a DJ, he was the first to show up and the last to leave, and he lived every single day of his life smiling and dancing like he was on vacation. There will forever be a hole in our hearts, but fond memories and funny stories of Julio allow us to press on. If you had the opportunity to meet Julio, I’m sure you have a story about how he has positively influenced your life in some way. If you never met Julio, you can still learn from him…Live life with no regret, fill your heart with love, and dance your ass off! We will always love you brother!
LIVE. LOVE. NEVER STOP DANCING!

This Friday, we're heading north to bring the Ontildawn sound to Monarchy Nightclub in West Palm Beach. Monarchy reigns supreme in WPB nightlife and is the only establishment in the city that consistently provides proper dance music. This is our first gig at this venue, so needless to say, we are pulling out all the stops. Our set is from 1-4AM, so come with those shoes laced tight, because it's going to be high energy all night!

Taking a break from tearing up South Florida's club scene lately? Have you traded in your weekends at Gryphon for weekends at Bed, Bath, and Beyond? Is the belt on your robe the only velvet rope you touch? Well, we wish we could say that you have not missed anything, but we would be lying. So for all you couch commandos out there, we decided to post a couple videos of some recent Ontildawn gigs. Enjoy them in between your Dancing with the Stars marathon. And for all our party people...we'll see you on the dancefloor!

Ontildawn has been working tirelessly in the studio for a few month's now, and things are really starting to click. Each member of OTD has a very distinct style of music when DJ'ing, which will now be expressed in original productions. Eric D has always had a passion for the darker side of dance music, namely techno. This week, Eric has released a new EP called Elevation on Subtec Records. The EP includes Jump (Original Mix), So high (Original Mix), and Jump (Secret Grooves Remix). Jump takes you on a wide ride to the dark side with it's deep bassline, ghost like pads, and a distinct vocal "Jump." So high is a more mellow techno track with a sexy vocal and groovy flow. Grap a copy on Beatport and all major online stores. Enjoy!

Our residency, Never Stop Dancing at Gryphon Nightclub has grown into something special over its short, six month span. We set out to throw a wild party at a dope nightclub with a banging soundsystem, but now it has taken a new shape. The Never Stop Dancing name was given after the passing of our best friend and Ontildawn member Julio Buenano in October of 2010. The NSD party at the end of October was held in his honor and served as a forum for a fundraiser, which we were able to raise over $5,000 for his memorial fund. Now the party has meaning, we dance with a purpose. Every party is a celebration of life and an opportunity to honor those who have impacted each and every one of us. We ask that attendees bring an open mind, a smiling face, and a good pair of dancing shoes. This Friday, April 29th, we put the outside world aside and let music take over.

We proud to announce a new chapter in Ontildawn history. We have been making serious progress in the studio and are now producing the music we all love so much. Look out for releases from Ontildawn and it's member's in the VERY near future. To kick it all off we have Eric D's Swing Track out on Urbanized Records as part of a Miami Sampler Compilation on April 29th. Grab a copy on Beatport. Swing Track has a funky tech house groove sure to make those booties move on the dance floor. Enjoy!
